What is the dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party: Cocktail Attire. Semi-formal style with a touch of elegance - something polished and festive! For men, we suggest a collared shirt and dress shoes. A suit or blazer are optional, but encouraged. For women, we suggest a dress of any length, jumpsuit, or dressy separates. Ceremony and Reception: Formal Attire. Dress to impress! For men, we suggest a suit and tie. For women, we suggest a gown, pantsuit or cocktail dress. Please avoid wearing shades of white and dusty blue for the ceremony and reception.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn overlooking First Beach, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour. If it rains, we’ll move the ceremony inside. The reception will be indoors either way!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you’re in town on Friday night, we’d love for you to join us to kick off the weekend! Come celebrate with us at The Reef starting at 8:00 PM. On Saturday, please plan to arrive at the Newport Beach House no later than 5:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, but kindly ask that you join us for an adults-only wedding weekend. We hope this gives you a chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a well-deserved night out!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

For everyone’s safety and convenience, Uber vouchers will be included in the welcome bags, which will be distributed at our Welcome Cocktails at The Reef, so guests can enjoy a couple of rides on us. Since guests will be staying at a variety of hotels and Airbnbs throughout Newport and Middletown, Uber will be the easiest and most convenient way to get around during the wedding weekend, and we strongly encourage using it throughout.

Will Parking Be Available?

Answer

Welcome Party: There are a small set of parking spots in front of the Reef, but they tend to fill up quickly. You will find metered street parking and nearby pay-by-plate lots in downtown Newport. Many guests may also wish to Uber to ensure a stress-free and safe evening. If you're staying at the Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina or another downtown hotel, The Reef is just a short walk away. Ceremony and Reception: Free self-parking is available for interested wedding guests on a first come, first serve basis.
