When Brooke and Daniel first met, they were 18 years old, young and eager to step into the world of missions. Though they were paired together for every assignment, their friendship was nearly nonexistent. After spending time serving side by side in ministry, life took them in different directions. Daniel returned to his home state of Puebla, Mexico, to attend college, while Brooke remained in missions for five more years. You might think their story ended there, but with God, there are no coincidences. Every couple of years, their paths would cross again. Each time, they saw how much the other had grown and changed, and what was once distance slowly became a genuine friendship. When Brooke was preparing to leave missions and Mexico altogether, she decided, almost on a whim, to visit Puebla one last time to see a close friend and her family. Without thinking much of it, she reached out to her old friend Daniel. He was thrilled to invite her to his church and catch up again. That simple decision to visit his church and reconnect changed both of their lives and the way they saw each other. Since that day, their friendship has grown into a lasting love, leading to the beautiful moment ahead when they will be united as one before God, their family, and their friends.
