Little River Canyon National Preserve
Nicknamed "The Grand Canyon of the South", this is the deepest canyon east of the Mississippi and is surrounded by the scenic beauty of Lookout Mountain. Desoto State Park
The state park covers 3,502 acres of forest, rivers, waterfalls, and mountain terrain. It borders the Little River, which flows into the nearby Little River Canyon National Preserve.
