When and where is the wedding?

The wedding will take place on Thursday, October 16th, 2025 at The Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill in Middletown, CT 06457. Ceremony and Reception Details can be found on the “Schedule” page

Where can I park upon arrival?

Answer

There is free onsite parking available for all guests.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes. To match the festive and formal event, we politely ask that you dress in ALL BLACK formal attire. This includes, all black floor length gown, elegant mid-length dress or a dressy pant suit for women and black suits with black dress shirt for men. No color designs or patterns, only black. Black shoes and accessories are required in helping all of our pictures to look clean and unison. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place on the lawn so plan accordingly with your choice in shoes. Please contact Karlena, our Maid of Honor, with any questions.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

There will not be guest transportation available. Onsite parking will be available at the venue, although we do recommend Uber as it is a 15 minute drive to the venue from the hotel.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue by 3:30pm to allow time for parking and finding your seats. Ceremony begins at 4:00pm.

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

Our reception will end promptly at 9:30pm

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the “RSVP” page on our website and fill out the online form. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience and no later than August 25th. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Will there be accommodation options for out-of-town guests?

Answer

Yes, a block of rooms at a discounted rate have been reserved at SpringHill Suites Hartford Cromwell. Please refer to the “Stay” page on our website for more details.

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, while the reception will take place indoors.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests . Due to limited capacity we can only allow the ones named on the invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “(Your name) and Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

Are kids welcome?

This will be an adult-only occasion. Please use this as an opportunity for a relaxing and fun date night!

Your love and support is the real gift—but if you’re feeling extra generous, our ‘Registry’ page has a few ideas!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged ceremony” (No phones or cameras). We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and promise to share these beautiful photos as soon as we receive them.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! It’s a Goodhue party after all! We just ask that you plan accordingly and have a way to get home safely.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We plan on having an entree choice to accommodate all guests with dietary restrictions. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!
