We met for the first time at a Memphis Tigers Football game. We had been texting and I told him that I was going and so he decided to use his grandparents tickets and go as well. I will never forget when I was stepping out of my car and I saw him and I got the craziest feeling in my stomach and knew from that moment that I was going to marry him. We had the best night and clicked instantly. The next day, he asked me to be his girlfriend and we've been inseparable since.
So, I had been wanting portraits of our little family for our house for months and he told me he had some planned at Annesdale Mansion and I was so excited. The day before the proposal was my mom's birthday and she said she wanted to spend the day with me. We got our nails and toes done, got lunch at Houston's and went shopping. I thought it was strange that my mom wanted to spend one of her biggest birthdays with me spoiling me and got kinda suspicious and even told my friends at dinner that night that I think I am getting engaged soon. They reassured me that I wasn't and we had a girls night with lots and lots of wine. The next morning I woke up with the most gnarly hangover and having to get ready for my pictures lol. I got ready in the car on the way and looked an absolute mess. (Sorry H) We pull up to Tiger Lane by the fountain and I was confused cause he said pictures were at Annesdale. He assures me that he wants a picture for our house where we first met. So we get out and say hello to the photographers and walk to the fountain, little do I know they're taking pictures of us walking to the proposal spot. Hunter tells me he loves me and that this is where we first met and then proceeds to get down on one knee and it was the most perfect proposal a girl could have. I was on cloud nine and the happiest girl in the entire world! The first thing I wanted to do was call my parents but they said they were gonna be at the lake and then little did I know there was a surprise engagement party right after. Not only did the man of my dreams propose to me, he also surprised me with a trip to our favorite place, Universal. We left the next day for Orlando and he 100% made it all an experience I'll never forget. Thank you to all of our family and friends who helped make this proposal such a fairy tale. We are forever thankful for you guys.
I know it might sound cliche but from the moment I saw Megan I knew i was going to marry her. Even if it was just on social media lol. Just ask Gavin he has the proof. And thank the lord you responded after me trying a few times at a slide in the DM's. Fast forward one crazy year and what I originally planned was completely tossed aside because of the pandemic. So my mind went racing. What could blow this perfect woman away and make it something she would never think off. I’ve always mentioned I wanted to get pictures done at Annesdale and for some reason on one of her wonderful wine nights, Megan mentions she wants some pictures of us taken. My mind starts going in circles and I come up with the plan you all witnessed/saw pictures of on June, 20 2020. To say I was a nervous wreck is not even close to how I felt. But with the help of our amazing family who helped not only keep it a surprise but also throw an amazing engagement party for us was nothing short of amazing. We felt so loved and we want you to know we love all of you. Now it’s time for us to take the big leap and I’m so blessed to do it with the wild spirited, big hearted, and the most beautiful fiancé - soon to be wife. Let’s do this thing baby!! To Bledsoe and Beyond.
