Please note all of our events will be unplugged-we ask that everyone silence and put away phones during all of our special moments throughout the weekend. Don't worry, we have hired an excellent photographer to capture the day.

We are so excited to provide the opportunity for our loved ones to wear some traditional Punjabi looks to celebrate our ceremony. Upon entering the Gurdwara you will need to take your shoes off (yes, I would get a pedicure in advance) and have your head covered. Women will need to bring a head scarf in advance and wear inside the gurdwara. A traditional Indian outfit that women wear at the Gurdwara is called a "salwaar kameez" or Punjabi Suit. If you don't want to wear a traditional outfit, we recommend a long colorful tunic and stretchy pants. Men will find the most comfort in wearing a “kurta" to the Gurdwara or you are welcome to wear a button-down shirt and comfortable pants. Men will be provided a bandana upon arrival to the gurdwara to wear as a head cover. We have several examples linked below and places to order traditional outfits should you like. The most important part is comfort and being mindful that you will be sitting on the floor for the duration of 30 minutes to 1 hour, so please dress comfortably. There will be some chairs in the back of the Gurdwara for those who need them.
