From the beginning, Sam & Sarah knew that what they were experiencing was special. They had both taken huge risks in their lives that were big and scary, and in the end brought them to each other. Sarah had just moved back to Utah (which is something she always said she would never do), and Sam had been back in Utah for a few years trying to find his person. Exactly a month and a half after Sarah arrived back in Utah they had their first day on December 1st, 2023 at Alpha Coffee, one of Sam's regular haunts. Sarah was trying to be brave and date, and had a few dates lined up that weekend; but after spending 8 hours straight together, Sarah cancelled the rest for the weekend to spend all that time with him, and never looked back. For the first three months, both Sarah & Sam had a hard time believing each other was real and that there was a huge chance they had found the love of their life. They were definitely both twitterpated and Sarah's family spent a long time teasing her about how she was having a hard time focusing and remembering things, and that her face was stuck in a smile. Once Sam & Sarah knew that this feeling was real and healthy, they both leaned fully into it and haven't looked back since.
