We've known each other since 2007. Alyssa was nine and Marcus was thirteen, when Alyssa and her family started going to Spring Valley Bible Church. We didn't talk and that's about it. Fast forward eleven years to a seemingly innocent Instagram story Alyssa posted when she and her mom were in Disneyland in November. Marcus commented on it and the rest, they say, is history. We instantly clicked and just genuinely enjoyed talking to each other. We started dating and then THREE WEEKS later Alyssa moved across the country to pursue an internship working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Of course this sounds crazy, and it definitely was a wild time, but we persevered and have been together ever since.
