Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan to have it outdoors - but obviously, Michigan weather is not predictable. If it rains, we will be inside at the same venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be semi-formal - This might include a suit or blazer with dress pants, a cocktail dress, smart pantsuit, or midi/maxi dress. We have put together a Pinterest board with ideas for our guests to refer to. https://pin.it/6kTQ62qb3

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage you to lean into the fall colors! Ensure you are comfortable in your attire, so you can dance the night away. If you wear heels, we will have some heel stoppers available to prevent you from sinking into the grass.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 (immediate family exceptions) on our wedding day.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of free parking.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior. If you arrive after 4:50, we ask that you wait for the cocktail hour to start.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony or speeches during the reception. We have hired amazing photographers who we trust to get wonderful photos. During the reception, you are welcome to take photos and share them to a shared album we have available!

Each invitation is specific to the individuals listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
