Instead of throwing a traditional wedding we decided to throw more of a mini music festival with a wedding ceremony thrown in there. Live music, food trucks, onsite camping- please come expecting anything but a stuffy traditional wedding.
Yes- with a Caveat, onsite Parking is limited so only those who are planning on camping overnight will be able to camp on site. Carpooling is Highly encouraged. For those planning on leaving after the festivities- street parking is available right outside the Festival Grounds on Tolt River Road.
Yes! In fact we encourage guests who are taking advantage of free overnight camping to please arrive around 10am the day off the ceremony so that they can select a camping spot and set up there gear prior to the festivities.
No. Club Tolt is a private property "in the middle of nowhere" - cell phone reception is very poor. That's why we're trying to put as much info on here as early as possible so that you can come very prepared.
This is not a fancy affair- we want you to be comfortable and to be able to enjoy your afternoon and evening with us. Wear your best tie-dyes, your boho dresses, sandals, bring a decent coat in case of rain. We definitely don't recommend High Heels.
There is not. This is essentially an off-grid property. Please bring your own reusable water bottle and like the lovely hippies you are- don't plan on showering. We're just camping for 1 night after all.
For those who RSVP'd to attend our Friday Set-up and Rehearsal Dinner we will be providing Frito Pies. During the Ceremony there will be the two food Vendor options- Haughty Tamale. or The Cheese Pit. We will also have a Munchie bar, cake, and donuts. Sunday Morning Shawn and Stacy Warren are providing us with a Breakfast Burrito Bar.
Unlike most newly weds we're not looking to leave our own party. The music on the main stage will be stopping around 10 Pm. But, after the main music ends we're calling all Musicians to bring their acoustic instruments and drums back down to the River/Ceremony stage for a late night bonfire and jam.
We're talking festival here folks- and what do you have at festivals? Port-a-Potty's. I know, I'm sorry. It's a little cringey- but, it is what it is. Just remember- always bring a light after dark.
No, this is purely a tent camping situation. It's finding a spot in the woods and setting up your gear- completely roughing it style. If you want to try and camp as a group I do suggest arriving earlier to snag a large area for your crew. If you are interested in RV Camping Tolt MacDonald park is just 10 mins down the road and offers RV camping spaces. But, do try and book early!
We are limited on space and trying to keep our guest list around 200 (which we've already exceeded). While we would love to have as many as possible- please refer to your invite "This Ticket Entitles Entry For..."
