How has COVID-19 impacted the wedding?

Answer

While a lot of our plans have been impacted by the pandemic, we will be having our wedding mostly as-planned. The entire event will be held outside to allow for more space between guests. We will allow guests to stand during the ceremony in a designated area. We will also space out the ceremony aisles and reception tables to encourage social distancing. During the reception, guests have access to the entire venue. There are a number of other seating areas throughout the property that are open to guests, if the reception area is not within your comfort zone for social distancing. We will offer hand sanitizer and masks, and are exploring a few other options for COVID-19 precautions. If you are no longer able to attend, we completely understand. Please update your RSVP on our website, and we wish you health and safety during this unprecedented time.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

We have set up a promo code to use for Lyft rides, it will be active on Saturday from 4 pm - 11:30 pm. Enter THEKINGS2021 for a ride on us.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm, so plan on arriving a few minutes early. The doors will open at 5 pm.

Cocktail attire.

What's the weather like in Florida?

Answer

May is warm and sunny, but before our rainy tropical season. So expect some humidity and lots of sunshine. Make sure to pack the sunscreen!

What's the venue like?

Answer

Sunken Gardens is one of the hidden gems of St. Pete. A majority of the property is heavily shaded by hundred year old oak trees and palms. We will have full access to the park, so feel free to explore when you're here!

Are kids invited?

Answer

If your invitation includes your children, then absolutely! We love your kids, we really do, but if they aren't on the invite we'd prefer if it was just you.
