Question

COVID-19 in SLO County, CA

Answer

San Luis Obispo (SLO) County in California has recently been experiencing an increase in confirmed coronavirus cases. As a result additional restrictions have been put in places on local businesses, including but not limited to religious ceremonies and wedding celebrations. More information can be found on ReadySLO.org

Question

Are you still getting married?

Answer

Yes - though we cannot have the wedding celebration originally planned; we’ll still move forward with the civil process this year.

Question

When will you rescheduled your wedding celebration?

Answer

Simply put, we don’t know yet. There are a lot of factors that will go into making that decision which are constantly in flux at the moment. Further communication will be provided once we have more clarity into the matter.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes. For a limited time, rooms have been set aside for you at reduced rates. Please see our Travel page for more details. We recommend you book your room as early as possible because of the holiday and popularity of California’s central coast region. We also ask you to book early as a courtesy to other guests. Due to hotel policies, only a limited amount of rooms could be reserve at one time. However, once the first set of rooms have been book, we can ask for additional rooms to be set aside at the reduced rates we negotiated.

Question

I’m looking for alternative lodging nearby - what’s the venue’s address?

Answer

Please use Strother Park for a proximity point: 1150 Huasna Road Arroyo Grande, CA 93420 Strother Park is where the transportation service will meet you to escort you onto the estate.

Question

Is there a dress code required?

Answer

Yes - please wear cocktail attire. Cocktail attire typically calls for a dress that finishes at or above the knee; but is not a summer dress. A suit and tie or a sportscoat is common for men. Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Formal invitations are on their way to you containing an RSVP card that will indicate the number of seats we have reserved for your party.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, both the wedding and reception will be an adults-only affair.

Question

How do I get to the estate?

Answer

Our transportation service will pick you up at Strother Park and escort you onto the Casitas Estate. Due to limited space at the estate, and day of vendor logistics, guests will only be able to arrive and depart from the estate using the arranged transportation.
