We're getting married!

Wyatt and Ali met on a Christian dating app in May of 2021 and made things official in November. Wyatt was a sophomore playing Division II Football at McKendree University, and Ali was a sophomore at Indiana Wesleyan University. Their first date consisted of pizza, intentional conversations, and Wyatt asking her if she would be his girlfriend. Now, Ali initially turned Wyatt down as she thought it was too early, but then gladly gave in, because life is too short. From that moment on, Ali and Wyatt would trade off visiting one another, meeting families for the first time, and growing in happiness, joy, and love. Many memories were made, and long distances made their hearts grow fonder. Wyatt got the opportunity to work as a Graduate Assistant at Jacksonville State University, which began the hardest season for the couple. Their love prevailed, through visits, attending football games, and ultimately the Lord's goodness. Fast forward to February 2024, when Ali would begin working at the Zeta Tau Alpha International Office. After 2 years of long-distance, the Lord made way. Wyatt would accept a position at Certor Sports, and the couple moved in together in April. A few months after living together, Wyatt would begin the process of finding the perfect ring for Ali. And that he did, finding the perfect ring for his bride-to-be. On August 11th, 2024, Wyatt and Ali were engaged, and are now on the road to MARRIAGE. This love story is proof of God's grace, goodness, and promise that His plan is always superior. We cannot wait to celebrate our first day of forever surrounded by all of our family and friends.
