Maid of Honor
Julia and Alicia met on a random Key West trip while Julia was living in Miami (thank you Fonz!) and the rest was history! The two of them love to go on adventures together or do anything where they are constantly laughing. As Julia's best friend and Maid of Honor, there is no one else Julia would rather have by her side to keep her laughing, keep the dance floor going and be the life of the party! Drink of choice: give her a glass of prosecco... but no shots!
Bridesmaid
Julia and Angela met when they were working for the Springfield Falcons. The two of them love to go to concerts or do anything new and fun! As Julia's bridesmaid, Angela's fun and quirkiness will undoubtedly keep a smile on everyone's face, as well as her ability to make sure everything runs perfectly. Drink of choice: a good beer... but that changes with her mood.
Bridesmaid
Julia and Marija met when they were both working for the Springfield Falcons. They love to go on spontaneous adventures together and spend time anywhere where they can have plenty of good food and drinks in front of them! Count on Marija to be the one keeping the party going all night and dancing to anything and everything. Drink of choice: a nice glass of wine.
Bridesmaid
Julia and Jhor first met at one (of their many) Miami Hurricanes football tailgates! Among introducing Julia to all things Harry Potter, Jhor also introduced her to all the unique things about being a resident of Miami. Look for Jhor to be the one constantly laughing and making fun. Julia is so excited for Jhor to be part of her special day! Drink of choice: a tequila mixed drink... or tequila mixed with tequila.
Bridesmaid
Bella is Julia's first cousin once removed. Bella's mother was a bridesmaid at Julia's mother's wedding, Julia was a bridesmaid at Bella's mother's wedding and now Bella continues the family tradition! Bella is fun and outgoing and we can't wait to have her be part of our special day. Drink of choice: water!
Best Man
Robbie and Chad met at a young age on the hallowed grounds of Grimes Field at their father's softball league and had some limited interaction at barbeques and games. Fast forward 20 years or so, as irony (and lineage) would have it, their paths crossed once again and they became fast friends when Chad joined Robbie’s softball team in Hillsboro, NH. The following decade included multiple championships, hundreds of breweries, thousands of beers, a ‘few’ hangovers and the resurrection of their father’s tournament team! Toss in some late night shenanigans, a trip to Chicago they don’t discuss, a son, a God son, countless good times and Chad's best man was set.
Groomsman
The longest tenured friend of the groomsman, Brandon and Chad go all the way back to elementary school where they bonded around, and participated in, every sport that Henniker, NH had to offer. Although they played other sports together, basketball was definitely where their friendship and brotherly bond really developed. Some of their best times were their town team ball trips all over the state, with Chad’s dad coaching and Henniker dominating! As high school progressed, their cleats and gloves were replaced with pool cue’s, ping pong tables and basement parties (and possibly warm Michelob Goldens!) Years and miles often separated them but their friendship always persevered.
Groomsman
Joe and Chad had informally crossed paths several times while enjoying the local bar scene around Henniker, NH in ‘11 and ’12. Surprisingly, given how inconspicuous they both are, they never really knew each other. That changed in the summer of ’13 when they were formally introduced by Robbie about 20 minutes before embarking on what would become the inaugural (and infamous) Rehoboth Beach trip. The trip kicked off with a botched 11-hour car ride and 3am arrival, only to find out the cousins that were supposed to be gone the day before, were very much still there. Things improved from there on out, and after few days of bloody Mary’s, sunburns, Dogfish Head beers and drag shows, Chad and Joe’s friendship was cemented!
Groomsman
Matt and Chad were first introduced directly prior to departure for the Rehoboth Beach trip. Chad had some initial concerns, as boat shoes and salmon-colored shorts weren’t necessarily the prevailing attire of his dominant social network. However, the subliminal forces of the Delaware beaches once again proved too strong and another lifelong friendship was born. Prior to Matt’s move to the west coast, the years were spent navigating life's ups and downs, misguided relationships, formal Fridays and the Henniker six-stop “pub” crawl. There’s a saying that “nothing good ever happens after midnight” and after years of extensive research on the subject, Matt and Chad would probably conclude that more research is needed!
Groomsman
Jim and Chad have known each other for many years but became close friends with the resurrection of the Dawgs softball team and are another second-generation friendship. With a common passion for random college sports and bandwagon jumping, Julia’s career path has proven to be a handy launching platform for the emergence of their close friendship over the past few years. Football trips to Miami and Providence have brought their own individual moments of candor and will undoubtedly be a foundational part of their relationship going forward. Sprinkle in trips to the lake, Christmas parties and Tooky’s, one thing is for sure…. You will always know when Chad and Jim are in the house!
