Ganesh Sthapan Before the wedding celebrations begin, we honor Lord Ganesha, known as the remover of obstacles and the god of new beginnings to bless the couple and all the festivities to come. Grahshanti Prayers are offered to the planets and deities asking for protection, prosperity, and happiness in their new journey together. Pithi A golden turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom symbolizing purification. As the yellow hues brighten the air, so do the blessings that fill this beautiful beginning. We kindly request no boxed gifts. Followed by dinner.
