Flight
Getting to Lucca
We recommend flying into Florence (FLR) or Pisa (PSA), both are less than an hour from the city. Renting a car makes the short drive easy and scenic. Alternatively, guests can fly into Rome (FCO) or Milan (MXP). Both are connected to Lucca by high speed train, with travel times ranging from 3–4 hours.

Passport
For U.S. citizens, your passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your departure from Italy/Europe (though 6 months is recommended). Please check your passport and renew early if needed! For non-U.S. passport holders, please make sure to check the Italian embassy’s website for specific travel information: https://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/.

Car Rental
If you’d like to explore Tuscany beyond the wedding, we strongly recommend renting a car. There are no Ubers and taxis are limited. If you don’t plan to rent, please arrange a taxi or private driver ahead of time. Major rental companies (Hertz, Sixt, Enterprise, etc.) are available at the airports—book early for best pricing.

Taxis are limited in Lucca and can be difficult to find on the spot. They're usually seen at the train station or in Piazza Napoleone. The wedding will be at Villa Lenka, an estate outside of the walled center. We suggest staying inside the walls, where it's full of charming shops, restaurants, and lively piazzas.
