We met the modern way, by swiping right! We always say that it was an unexpected thing, one in a thousand chance, but here we are getting married!
Our first date was July 3, 2018 in downtown Redlands. I remember being at a clothing store where we were meeting, and was browsing through the racks, and then I suddenly saw him walk through the door. I quickly looked away, avoiding eye contact because I was so nervous and acted like I didn't see him until he came up to me and said "Hannah?" (Later on in life, he told me that when he saw me, I had an RBF and was slightly intimidated haha). We walked around, talked about our families, life, and career and our plans for the future. I quickly realized we had a lot of things in common and loved how easy it was to talk to him and how comfortable I felt. One thing that left a lasting impression was how he noticed a homeless man walking by us, eyeing our food, and told us that it looked good. Without hesitation, Andrew offered the rest of his food to him. Four years later we got engaged, and started planning our lives together.

On our four year anniversary, we decided to recreate our first date. We walked around downtown Redlands, ate at the same spot and reminisced. We then went to a park where the proposal happened, surrounded by our family and loved ones!
