Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the ceremony & reception will be held indoors at the Sequoia Mansion in Placerville, CA
Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. We request all guests arrive no later than 3:30 pm for ample time to find parking and seating.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
February in Placerville is expected to be around 45 to 55 degrees during the day, dropping into the 30s at night. There may be a chance of rain.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! Beer, wine, and cocktails are on us tonight! We just ask that all guests drink responsibly.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We ask that all devices be silenced and put away during our ceremony. We've hired a fantastic photographer to capture every special moment. Your presence means the world to us; being fully present will make this moment even more meaningful.

What about photos outside of the ceremony? (cocktail hour, reception, etc.)
Answer
Yes please! Take as many photos and videos as you'd like. We can't wait to see every moment from our guests' points of view.

Is there parking available on site?
Answer
Yes. The Sequoia Mansion has a small parking lot and plenty of street parking.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We'd like to ask that our guests dress to impress in cocktail attire. Think polished, stylish, and festive. Please avoid wearing white or any overly casual clothing or shoes. For ladies: Dresses, jumpsuits, or elegant separates. For gents: Suits or dress pants with a blazer and button-down shirt (ties optional but always welcome).

What's the food situation?
Answer
Throughout the evening, we will have a variety of appetizers & hors d'oeuvres circulating, along with drinks to keep you refreshed. Dinner will be served buffet style with several delicious options to choose from. There will be something for everyone! We will also have a dessert bar with many delicious treats to end the evening on a high note!

We kindly request that all guests RSVP by December 15, 2025

What if I forget to RSVP before the deadline
Answer
Although we hope this doesn’t happen, if you do forget, please reach out to Rachel or James. We may still be able to add you to the guest list.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Your invitation will indicate if a guest or plus-one is included, but please reach out to us if you’d like to add a plus-one, we may be able to! Please do not show up with a plus-one unannounced.

Is the wedding child-friendly?

Only for those formally invited.
