Kim and Rebecca both signed up for the pre-orientation Hillel trip before starting college. After meeting in line getting bagels, Rebecca introduced Kim to putting peanut butter on her S'mores. Over the four years of college, their bond grew stronger through their Jewish culture, writing their honors theses together, and going on post-college graduation retreats in the middle of nowhere. Now, Rebecca is a lawyer in Atlanta, GA, and lives with her husband, Davis, and their baby boy, Ari.

Jie entered Kim's life at the beginning of their sophomore year of college. They were placed in the same dorm as sophomore advisors. They immediately bonded over writing lyrics for the traditional freshman "songfest" at Emory. Throughout the rest of college, Jie and Kim tackled their NBB (Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology) classes together, frequented the frozen yogurt places around campus, and went on long walks in Lullwater park together. Now, Jie is an OB-GYN doctor in Seattle, Washington, and lives with her husband, Kevin, and their adorable daughter, Nora.

Brooke and Kim met freshman year of college when they were randomly assigned to be roommates. They showed up with the exact same towels from Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Brooke drew a flower on the whiteboard that they hung outside their dorm room. It was truly a match made in heaven, and Kim and Brooke decided to live together for the rest of college. They became so close that people at Emory starting calling them Brim. Now, Brooke is a rheumatologist in Fort Worth, Texas, and lives with her husband, Charles, and two new twin girls, Lina and Yara.

Marissa came along when Kim was 9 years old, and Kim became somewhat of a hybrid big sister and second mother to Marissa. After Kim changed her diapers, did her hair in a ponytail every morning in their shared bathroom before school, and helped develop her initial passion for dance, Marissa became Kim's go-to lady for everything fashion, youthful, and fun. Now, Marissa lives in Gainesville, FL, and is applying for PA programs.

Kim was born shortly before Elysa's 3rd birthday. As kids, they often wore matching outfits, fought over who got to use the dial-up internet to connect to AOL, and enjoyed sleepovers in each other's rooms. When Elysa started to drive, Kim got to be the cool middle schooler who didn't have to arrive to campus through the carpool line. They bonded on their long car rides to and from school. Now, Elysa is a chiropractor in Orlando, FL, and lives with her husband, Brad; their son, Cameron; and their dog, Tootsie

Bryan has been the quintessential big brother to Patrick, providing life advice and paving the way for his younger brothers. As children, his "brotherly love" often manifested as relentless torment of Patrick. Bryan is now a consultant and lives in suburban Chicago with his wife, Kate, and their three daughters. As the youngest of three boys, Casey attributes his athletic success to his older brothers and the hours of backyard soccer and other sports they played together growing up (“I stood on the shoulders of giants,” he likes to say). Patrick and Patrick bonded during sophomore year chemistry class and have been close friends since. Their (mis)adventures began during their summer job at a Clermont County Texas Roadhouse, where they learned that the world can sometimes be a creepy place. Patrick is now a data scientist and lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Blair, and their son and daughter. Cats: >2

Dan and Patrick met in freshman World Cultures class. They have been close friends ever since, bonding over their love for UC basketball and the peculiarities of rap lyrics. Dan lives in Chicago and works in finance/real estate/law.
Brother of the Bride
Evan put up with a lot as the only boy in the family. He developed a liking for the game Pretty Pretty Princess and played with Kim all of the time. Kim showed Evan the ropes through Park Maitland (elementary school) and Trinity Prep (middle/high school), but let's face it, he was always the cooler one. As they became adults, they became closer and closer. Even though Evan is younger, Kim looks up to him in so many ways. Now, Evan is an accountant in Atlanta, GA, and lives with his wife, Erin, and their dog, Scooby.

Katie is responsible for using her blunt and direct ways to facilitate the beginnings of Kim and Patrick’s relationship. As a member of Kim and Patrick’s psychology internship cohort she regularly reminded Patrick that Kim was single and worked her behind the scenes magic to get these 2 shy and awkward people to finally go on their first date. Who better to tell our love story on our wedding day by officiating our ceremony! Now, Katie is a practicing neuropsychologist in Oregon and lives with her husband, Josh and newborn daughter, Cobie.

Ring Bearers
Cameron is the son of Elysa & Brad Talbert and will be 11 months old at our wedding. Kiaan is the son of Casey Logan & Tara Magge and will be 9 months old at our wedding. This duo will be making their wedding debut this weekend and are sure to steal the show.
