We first met in undergrad. Joe was visiting ACF Intervarsity and Alice was nervously setting up the event. Our first impressions of each other...Joe, a highly spirited and sociable guy that was appealing to the eye and Alice, an aggressively high five-ing momma goose that had the spirit of a young Mulan. BUT. There was no development here. No, no. It was seven years later when we met at yet another campus ministry. We reconnected as classmates, both struggling in medical school and longing for the food our ancestors in this Korean food desert, called Charleston. Then our friendship deepened over coffee and sincere conversations. Joe testifies that our first coffee meeting was truly just as classmates, but in the end, Joe decided to pursue Alice. And boom. We're getting married. Now, we are so excited to be married and to celebrate with you! Can't wait to give you hugs and dance floor with you <3 Everyone we invited has been part of our journeys in such a wonderful way. It's going to be amazing to see all of you in one room celebrating with us. BUT, I haven't met some of Joe's crew and Joe hasn't met some of you.
