Kimmy’s eldest friend since just two years old. Attending middle school and high school together, Suzie and Kimmy have remained the greatest of friends. Their similar sense of humor and love has been such a joy for Kimmy over the years. Privileged to stand in Suzie’s wedding in 2017 (the year Kimmy and Erin met), it’s been a blast getting together with Shawn (her hub) and Erin for bowling events, brunches and birthdays over the last few years. Suzie has remained such a kind and funny friend. Suzie and Kimmy have supported each other through tough life events and created annual holiday traditions over the years. Kimmy is so grateful to call Suzie her matron of honor, and just is so proud to know and be so close with this life long friend.

Stephanie Nowling

Friends since the 7th grade, Stephanie has been the literal laughter bone to Kimmy’s life. Despite any short periods when they didn’t talk, Steph and Kimmy have bounced right back to being the closest ever (just like during their childhood). Steph has been such an incredible stay at home mom to her daughter Mackenzie, and carries the greenest thumb when it comes to her love for plants and gardening. Her strength and resilience is incredible, overcoming MULTIPLE brain surgeries/ tumors over the last few years and has not ever given up. Stephanie and her partner Mike, started dating just around when Kimmy and Erin, and Kimmy has just been in awe of Mike. He is the perfect match for Steph and future step- dad to Mackenzie. Kimmy has truly valued building a friendship with him, too.

Since meeting TJ in the 6th grade,Kimmy and TJ have never stopped being the closest of friends.Despite the hundreds of miles between them,Kimmy and TJ have remained strong supports for each other.Kimmy has watched TJ become this independent,hard working entrepreneur, ready to take on the world.From being prom dates their senior year to a visit with him and Wes in NYC in 2014, Kimmy couldn’t be more grateful to call TJ one of her forever greatest friends.He is compassionate and prides in the advocacy of others.His sense of humor beams, and he doesn’t ever seem to let anything get him down.Since high school,TJ has moved all over.He met his love,Wes, in NYC, and currently they reside outside of NYC in Jersey and split time down in Ft. Lauderdale,where TJ keeps hinting that Kimmy & Erin visit.

Vicki Joling

Dancing our way through the cosmetics department at Macy’s (literally... dancing to Gaga), Kimmy and Vicki go back to the good ol’ makeup days. What’s funny about this friendship is pretty much right when Kimmy and Vicki met, Vicki started dating an old high school friend of Kimmy’s, Evan. What blossomed into one of the most fun of friendships, Vicki has been such a support to Kimmy all these years. They've have had SO MANY fun times out dancing, shopping during holidays at Target and Joann’s and just getting together and gossiping over French fries at Steak n’ Shake. Vicki eventually married Evan and it brought some old high school friends back together. They had their first Bebe nearly 3.5 years ago, Poppy and while life’s been crazy... Kimmy and Vicki have never lost touch or closeness.

Kimmy and Christie met in 2012 at the Clinique counter at Macy’s. Their instant connection and love for live music, thrift shopping and cats has only been a sliver to their friendship. Christie moved to Detroit with her hub Eric, and left the beauty industry to peruse her passion in Coding. Thinking about all of the fun experiences that Kimmy and Christie have shared together... it's truly the best. Just over two years ago, Kimmy got to be apart of Christie’s big wed day and could not imagine not having Christie by her side at the alter. Now, she’s expecting her first little bebe and Kimmy so cannot wait to meet Christie and Eric’s new little Rock n’ Roller!

Natasha Brawley

Kimmy’s eldest sister, whom she met at the young age of 3. Tasha has only recently been residing with Will in the mitten state. After nearly ten years in the North Dakota/ Minnesota area, Tasha gained her Bachelors in Women and Anthropological Studies from Minnesota State University and has big plans to attend graduate school in the coming few years. She is extremely passionate about women’s rights and the equity of all, and has remained a resilient, intelligent and witty young woman. Kimmy has been so grateful to have Tasha residing so close. Kimmy has been conspiring ways to keep she and Will local, but knows that their adventure to a new place in the future will only be a few steps away and a perfect getaway for Kimmy and Erin. Kimmy is so grateful to call Tasha her sister.

Kimmy’s sistah !! Kimmy has been in Bailey’s life since the time that she was 1 1/2. Kimmy could not be more proud of the woman that Bailey has become. She works hard at her job at Whole Foods in Ann Arbor and has intentions of growing with the company and prides on the place in which she works. She has the sweetest kitties, a passion for bow hunting and summer nights and was even roomies with Kimmy when she and Erin first met. Kimmy is so grateful to call Bailey her sister (even though they don’t share biological parents) and has just truly enjoyed watching Bailey blossom into the woman that she’s become.

Emma Johnson

Kimmy’s sistah, Emma, has just reached her 20s, is brilliant and just beams sunshine. When you meet Emma, you’ll learn that she is literally the sweetest woman and is sensitive to those being mean or judgmental. Her kindness spreads like wildfire and it shows through her incredible smile and warm personality. She’s in her second year at Grand Valley University in Grand Rapids, MI and has really created a life for herself at school. She loves to dance and is even minoring in it at GV. She’s incredibly talented and so FUNNY. She's invested this most recent time at school to traveling for dance competitions and helping to organize and manage some of the Covid protocols for attendees. She's become a mini advocate and believes strongly in what she stands for. She's simply the best!

Gracie Hudson

Kimmy’s “littlest sis”. . . as she calls Gracie. She’s a beautiful soul , who’s growing into such a strong, resilient, SMART and independent lady. She works so hard and loves with her whole heart. Like the rest of the Hudson family, Gracie is the superhero to saving animals. She is kind, silly and has some incredible one liners that will crack you up! Just reaching her 18th birthday, Gracie is leaping into adulthood. Kimmy is so proud of the woman that she’s becoming and is in awe of her self growth and life that she has started to make for herself.

Drew Johnson

Kimmy’s baby brother. Taller then Kimmy, soccer pro and all around goof. Drew is the kindest boy, growing into a caring and empathetic young man. His love for gaming and heavy metal are just extra cool features about the sweetest dude around. Finishing up his sophomore year at Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, MI, Drew has told Kimmy about his passion for becoming a fire fighter and has already made efforts to learn about what is needed for this profession. He recently obtained his driver's license, which is both amazing and terrifying at the same time, but Kimmy continues to impressed with Drew’s level of maturity and growth as he’s blossomed into a teenager and is so lucky to have such a rad sibling!

The brother-in- law that Kimmy just like to call, her brother. Married to Tasha, Will has been such an incredible spirit that has been lifted into their family. His love for photography and music, as well as, passion for film shine through when he speaks of those things. Will is truly a joy to be around. He’s caring and compassionate, an ally and advocate. He has an incredible voice as well. Catch him singing or at karaoke and he’ll tear the house a part. He truly is an advocate of others and has always been such a loving support to Kimmy over the years. Love him to pieces!

Sarah McKenzie

Kimmy and Erin met Sarah at Toledo’s pride three years ago in August. When Sarah moved to Ypsi, her bond with Kimmy and Erin has grown immensely. There wasn’t a more perfect fit to officiate the wedding. We adore Sarah’s kind heart, goofy soul and adventure for going out and doing fun things. Sarah prides in her work with DTE, has the coolest little kitty and is such a loyal and great friend. We adore her to the moon and back and are grateful to have her give us away.
