Our venue is located at 10,050ft above sea level, over 4,000ft above Denver. Your comfort and health is very important to us, so please remember to stay hydrated and limit your alcohol intake! If you are prone to altitude sickness, or worried it might affect you negatively you might consider arriving a couple days ahead of time to acclimate.
Dressy casual. For example, slacks and a button up or a nice sundress! The terrain is on the rockier side, so feel free to opt for the comfy shoes. Note that due to the higher altitude, the temperature will be around 10-20 degrees cooler than Denver. That being said, the sun is a little stronger up there as well. Come armed with SPF for lips, skin and a good pair of sunglasses! There are two indoor/covered areas, but the Ceremony will be held outside. Be prepared for that classic Colorado wishy washy weather, and bring layers!
**DO NOT RELY ON UBER OR LYFT** You are more than welcome to drive yourself. The road is paved, and there is plenty of parking available at the venue. Just keep in mind, there are a good amount of very sharp turns and steep hills on your way. If you're not used to driving mountain roads, you may feel more comfortable carpooling. Be cautious! We are currently working on securing a shuttle transportation option as well! Check back for updates.
Unfortunately we will be unable to accommodate kiddos for our special day. We hope you will still be able to attend!
Check the "Travel" tab for lodging recommendations, however if you'd like to do your own research these are some nearby towns to consider: Idaho Springs, Morrison, Golden, and Lakewood are all within closer proximity to the venue. Denver and Littleton are also good options especially if you're looking to explore more of Colorado during your stay.
Since we have been living together for a few years now, we have just about everything we need for home goods! We have set up a couple cash funds under the "Registry" tab if you would like to contribute to them, but don't feel obligated! We cherish everybody's presence, and that is present enough.
