If you want to get outside while you're here you can drive down to the Loop on Wrightsville Beach for a 2.5 mile walk over the Intracoastal and through the heart of Wrightsville Beach.
If you favor a longer walk with less traffic the Greenfield Lake loop offers you 4 miles around the lake closer to downtown.
Don't forget the riverwalk (if you're a fan of OTH its a can't miss).
