Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
Tour the historic mansion loaded with incredible landscape paintings, or hike on beautiful trails and carriage roads (free of charge!). We recommend going up to the Pogue and, if you want a spectacular view of Woodstock, head to the summit of Mt. Tom.

World-class contemporary art collections on a former dairy farm just down the road from where Kimia grew up. A true hidden gem! Open only on weekends.
Billings Farm & Museum
Learn about farm life in 1890s Vermont on a real farm! This one's an especially kid-friendly choice. Don't forget to grab an ice cream!
Hood Museum of Art
About a half-hour drive from Woodstock but well worth it! Take a stroll around Dartmouth's campus while you're in Hanover.
Mount Peg
A favorite place to hike: short walk up to the Mt. Peg summit, plus a larger network of trails for walking, running, and mountain-biking!
Teago General Store
A family favorite for breakfast and lunch. Amazing sandwiches and baked treats!
Woodstock Farmers' Market
A Woodstock institution. Awesome coffee, tasty sandwiches and plenty of fancy Vermont treats.
White River Junction
A 20-min drive from Woodstock, this historic downtown is home to so many of our favorites: Turkish food and gifts at Little Istanbul and Tuckerbox Cafe, awesome banh mi at Pnom Penh Sandwich Station, several great thrift shops (The Cover Store, The Collection, and Revolution), great cocktails at Wolf Tree, and beers at River Roost Brewery.

This is our Saturday morning favorite!! Anyone looking for something fun to check out the morning of the 28th, you can't go wrong with a wander around the Norwich Farmers Market: you'll find fresh produce, local crafts and gifts, iced coffee, sandwiches and baked goods, live music, and an amazing view to boot.
