Nothing was seeming to go right that day for either of us, two strangers that didn't know what the very near future was going to hold. He worked a 12 hour day in the heat. I (finally) had a day off to spend with my best friend and do some shopping, get food and get our nails done. Well the lady at Walmart counted exact change for 298 years, the restaurant closed early and the nail salon was too long of a wait, so ice-cream it was. At the second red-light heading back, I look over and saw this beautiful, lifted, gifted, white Dodge Ram 5500 pick up truck. Of course we revved our engines and took off (me, driving a tiny Chevy Cobalt) going 95mph down route 23 at 5:50pm, cutting off each other and other cars. 23 merged into 145, and eventually he pulled off onto another road, and we beeped goodbye to each other, as if we had known each other. I pulled into a gas station, and what would you know- in pulls in a white Dodge Ram 5500 pick up truck. And the rest is history (in the making).
