Wolf Sanctuary of PA offers guided educational tours to view the wolves and learn about gray wolf conservation and biology. All tours required advance ticket purchase. (Kimberlyn would really like to do this, so if anyone plans on going let her know.)
The Wilbur Chocolate Store started as a space in the factory where employees could purchase the chocolate they manufactured in smaller sizes and amounts a few days per week. This idea grew in popularity and in 1972, the doors opened to the local community to include the sale of the beloved Wilbur Buds and other Wilbur chocolates. The store space included an area named the Candy Americana® Museum. Today, the Wilbur Chocolate Store remains a wonderful place to visit, shop, and learn about the world of chocolate and get a glimpse into the rich history of the confectionery industry!
Visitors can tour the original pretzel bakery, get a hands-on lesson in pretzel twisting using a playdough mixture, observe our bakers twisting old-fashioned soft pretzels by hand, and shop for delicious treats and souvenirs. This is a historic site, not a "working factory."
