Here’s to our happily ever after!

While Zack and I have two different stories of how we met….I’ll tell you mine first For me it all began when Zack showed up for his college orientation at the University of Mount Olive where I was his orientation leader in my second year of college. To me I of course noticed the cute boy in my group but I was there to do a job and that’s exactly what I did! While a year passes and we don’t really see much of each other due to COVID and being sent home from school, we then return for my junior year and his sophomore year. Conveniently, we lived in apartment that were across the way from each other. We passed by each other often this year and I even noticed every night when I went on my night walks with my roomies that he was always outside at the exact same time I was. Then I heard from my best friend that he may have been trying to reach out to me. Unfortunately I had made a promise to myself that I was in college to get a degree and focus solely on becoming a teacher. Of course I did just that! Whole time passes finally one day my roommates and I stop and play a game in the apartment yard with him and his roommates. But this was the last interaction we had for a while. Fast forward to my senior year of college and just a few short weeks from college graduation, I attended Zack’s home high schools FFA Chapter banquet. I was there with my student teaching mentors and to look at the program. I went to get dinner as they were serving and looked up to see a familiar face, it was Zack! We chatted for a second and then went on our way. At the end of the banquet, we had a little more time to catch up and he later reached out so we could catch up more! From there on is the sweetest love story I could ever imagine!
