When we were in high school, we both worked at Omega Burger & Custard in 2011. Both of us were shy, so it was a few months before we actually had a real conversation. One busy Friday night, our manager assigned us to work together at the cash registers. We got to know each other in between taking orders and even made plans to go to the zoo a few weeks later. Even though we were complete opposites, we couldn't deny our instant connection!

We planned a day to go to the zoo and were really excited to hangout away from the smell of greasy burgers and our unflattering work uniforms. Not knowing it was really a date, Kimberly invited her best friend, Amanda, to tag along. Uriel, like the gentleman he always is, was completely unfazed by the situation and even paid for Amanda's admission too! The three of us had fun exploring and trying to unsuccessfully find the red panda. Even though we were both trying to act cool, even Amanda picked up that we really liked each other. By the end of the day we were holding hands.

After over nine amazing years of dating, Uriel popped the question! He got a custom ring designed, got the blessing from Kimberly's family, and conspired with her best friend, Amanda, to make it all happen. Amanda orchestrated a photoshoot with Kimberly in order to make sure she was glammed up and to distract her the day of the proposal. After a full day of shooting, Kimberly came home to the lights dimmed and their favorite songs playing in the background. When she walked past the entrance, she saw Uriel down on one knee next to their pet bunny, Jameson. It was truly the most romantic proposal ever!
