We met in early 2020 — just before the world shut down. Perfect timing, right? Through the ups and downs of the pandemic, our story had its fair share of “on-again, off-again” moments (think classic rom-com energy). During one of those breaks, Tyler realized it wasn’t just that he missed Kim— he wanted a future with her. Armed with charm (and maybe a little pleading), he convinced a very skeptical Kim to give him another chance. Spoiler alert: she agreed. Plot twist: it worked. And the rest? History in the making. At first, we juggled a semi-long-distance relationship, seeing each other only once a week. Eventually, we took the leap and moved in together. Kim became a dog mom to Mort (who quickly decided he liked her best). Tyler learned how to actually wake up with one alarm. Kim learned how to cook (well… sort of). And in the middle of all the chaos, we both realized: this was it. As for the proposal… let’s just say Kim had a few suspicions (she’s an expert snooper, and Tyler isn’t exactly a secret-keeping pro). After a few foiled plans, Tyler pulled off a surprise by popping the question in an apple orchard on a sweltering 90-degree day — September 21st, no less (yes, like the song… and no, he didn’t even plan that part). He forgot most of his speech, but luckily Kim still said YES! Now, we can’t wait to say “I do” — and we’re so grateful to have you here to celebrate with us.
