Believe it or not we connected on FB dating. I honestly wasn’t really interested in dating since I had been single so long. But when he messaged me “Happy Mother’s Day”…I instantly saw how genuine the message was. I was like hmm most guys could care less to wish a someone they don’t know a happy mother’s day. That night we talked for hours. It was from that night on that we spoke every day all day. Finally they day came for our first date. I was both nervous and excited. Needless to say it was that night that we connected and have been together ever day since. It was that day that we became each other’s best friend.

This story is defiantly not as exciting as how we met. The proposal was simple as Stanley organized a small but intimate dinner with my family and close friends, he got down on one knee (his good leg) and asked for my hand in marriage. We spent the rest of the night celebrating our engagement.
