Vancouver Waterfront
Vancouver Waterfront is a wonderful place to walk along the Columbia river and there are many shops and new eateries to try. Very close to the downtown area- walkable even- with more shops and eateries and a lot of historical buildings. A lot of charm in the cute little town!
McMenamins Edgefield
This is a favorite of both of ours and a definite must visit! A great place to watch a movie, have lunch or dinner, maybe grab a beer or even a cigar. They are also a winery, and a distillery where they make rum, gin, liquors, as well as several other liquids to imbibe on. They also have a very fun golf course and so many little intricate spots to explore. Just walking the grounds to see the garden for farm to table dishes is an experience.
