Kimberly moved to New Mexico when she accepted a job with Virgin Galactic; a space company. She was excited for a new adventure and scenery as she is a Northern California native. She was not expecting to find love along the way but God had bigger plans. Saul, a lifelong New Mexican, was perfectly content where he was — enjoying home, friends, welding, Chili and Pecan farming and the familiar beauty of the desert skies. Neither of them were looking for anything serious when they both found themselves casually swiping on Bumble. What started as a simple match quickly turned into easy conversations, shared laughs, and an undeniable connection neither of them planned for. When they met in person, it felt natural from the start. Kimberly was discovering a new place, and Saul was seeing his home through fresh eyes. Together, they explored New Mexico and also flew to Northern California numerous times where they were building something steady and meaningful without ever forcing it. When the dogs met we knew it was game over. What began as a job relocation and a casual swipe turned into something neither of them expected — a best friend and partnership rooted in laughter, patience, balance, and love. Now, they’re excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story with the people who mean the most to them.

On a cruise filled with adventure and fun (as always), one unforgettable day brought us to one of the stunning ports of Mexico, Costa Maya. After exploring ancient pyramids and ruins on a private tour, we boarded a small boat and made our way to the breathtaking Passion Island near Bacalar—surrounded by crystal-clear water, warm sunshine, and complete serenity. In that perfect moment, Saul took Kimberly completely by surprise. As the waves gently rolled in, he got down on one knee on the boat and asked, “Will you come bother me for the rest of my life?” Kimberly screamed—pure shock, joy, and excitement all at once—having absolutely no idea this moment was coming. Time seemed to stand still as her heart caught up with what was happening. Laughing and a little nervous, Saul followed up with, “So is that a No?”. She excitingly said YES and Saul placed the ring on her hand and ensured it was on there securely as he commented “ we can’t let it fall in the water” And just like that, in one magical moment on Passion Island, our forever began. 💍🌴
