Grand Ole Opry

It began on the night of Nov. 28, 1925, when an announcer on Nashville radio station WSM introduced fiddle player Uncle Jimmy Thompson as the first performer on a new show called “The WSM Barn Dance.” Now, over 90 years later, the show Hay started is still going strong. Along the way, it has launched countless country music careers and led the way for Nashville to become Music City.

Pinewood Social

Pinewood Social is such a great place to be for many reasons. The cocktails are amazing and food is even better. They also have a pool, bocce ball, and a bowling alley on site. The bowling alley is $40 per hour for 6 people, which includes shoes. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the city. I highly recommend to check it out.

Urban Cowboy Public House

More cocktails, please? Urban Cowboy is very quaint bar with some of the best cocktails in the city. It's a very small bar so if you're planning on going Friday, I would call to see if they take reservations. There is also a bed & breakfast on site if you're interested in staying there. One thing to keep in mind is that the B&B requires reservations within 3 months prior and is quite pricey.

The Patterson House

The Patterson House is a hip, speakeasy bar that serves some of the best cocktails in the city. It is somewhat upscale, but a good upscale where you enjoy each minute there.

Flying Saucer Draught Emporium

Flying Saucer is for my beer connoisseurs. If you're looking for 1 good draught or 100 good draught, this is your (and my) place to be. Unfortunately, I probably won't have any time to meet you up for a good draught, but do me a favor and drink 1 for me and 1 for yourself. Cheers, Sahil.

Hattie B's Hot Chicken - Midtown Nashville, TN

Have you ever been to KFC to get the Nashville Style Hot chicken & enjoyed it? Well, if you fall into that category, I am sorry for your choices. You're welcome for this recommendation. The hot chicken at this place is just beautiful. Yes, beautiful and tasty. I will say though, be careful which hot level you choose. As a Indian man, they had me sweating. Enjoy.

Biscuit Love Gulch

Biscuit Love has some of the best brunch in the city! We love this place. Biscuits. Hot chicken. Mimosas. Or coffee. Bonuts. What else do you need? Go there. Get bonuts. Order off the secret menu. Treat yourself. Love yourself.

Pancake Pantry

Pancake Pantry is a place that has yet to be crossed off my list. I have heard a whole lot about the pancakes from here and how amazing they are. I have yet to try the place so if you do end up going, let me know if it lives up to the hype.
