Ann is Kim's best friend for life, her twin sister! Ann and Kim both enjoyed listening to alternative rock/emo bands together and singing those songs on the way to and from school. In particular, they have fond memories of waiting half a day for three music videos to load on dial up internet. They will fulfill their childhood dreams of seeing one of their favorite bands this fall in Chicago. Ann loves red pandas, corgis, and pigeons and hates ferns.

Ryan and John met at Nabor House during undergrad. John and Ryan love discussing all things related to University of Illinois sports. John is an expert meat smoker and conversationalist.

Elisabeth is Kim's best friend from graduate school. Elisabeth's favorite memory with Kim was when Kim and a mutual friend, Josh, traveled across Costa Rica and Panama to visit Elisabeth at her Peace Corps community in rural Panama. During the trip, the group navigated a flat tire, a blocked roadway due to striking Villagers, large bugs, and very strong caffeinated beverages on empty stomachs. In her free time, Elisabeth is a fantastic artist who excels in mixed media, drawing, watercoloring, and enameling.

Devin and Ryan met at Nabor House during undergrad at the U of I and lived together in Madison as Devin attended grad school. Devin and Ryan enjoy discussing whats new in agriculture, sports, and politics. Devin knows everything about short corn, just ask him!
Erin Theros

Erin is Kim's best friend from undergrad. Kim and Erin are great midwest travel companions. They have visited each other many times in Chicagoland/Madison area but also their hometowns, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Galena. During her adult life, Kim thinks that she has gotten asked more times in public if she and Erin were sisters vs her and Ann.
Eric DeWerff

Eric is Ryan's older brother. Ryan and Eric enjoy complaining about their favorite teams (Illini, Packers, Cardinals, Blues) and occasionally celebrating them. Eric gives the best gifts and plans the best trips.
Daye Pope

Daye is Kim's best friend from high school. Kim and Daye enjoyed drinking green tea, eating cookies, and discussing the future in Daye's boxy green van in lieu of watching the second half of highschool football games. Daye is also the funniest and greatest "note" artist of all womankind.
Zach Lyons

Zach is Ryan's brother-in-law (Kayla's husband). Ryan and Zach played high school football together. Zach is a Chief in the Navy responsible for working dog teams. When he's not busy with his job, wife and four boys, he enjoys creating artwork for t-shirts or wood.
Jenise Anderson
Honor Attendant
Jenise is Kim's best friend from work. Kim and Jenise enjoy reading and discussing books, talking about work, watching live bands, and eating Thai/Laotian food. Jenise enjoys running half-marathons and hike-in camping, which Kim will never understand, but will continue to support.
