FAQs

Question

Are there accommodations available at the estate?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a limited number of on-site accommodations exclusively for our wedding guests. These dates are intentionally blocked on Airbnb, so the apartments will appear unavailable even if they haven’t been reserved by a guest. Please contact Kim directly to inquire about availability and booking arrangements.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Our entire celebration will take place at The Illges Woodruff Estate. The ceremony will be held in the Conservatory, followed by cocktail hour and the reception at the JP Illges Woodruff House. Everything is just a short walk apart, so there’s no need to drive between locations!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. We encourage ladies to wear elegant cocktail dresses, dressy midi or floor-length dresses, and gentlemen to wear suits or dress jackets with ties. Tuxedos and formal gowns are not required, but we would love for everyone to dress up for the evening! Please keep in mind that portions of our celebration will take place outdoors, so a coat or wrap is recommended for the December weather.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your love and presence at our wedding are the greatest gifts we could ask for! For those who have asked, we have created a registry on Amazon. You can find the link on our Registry page.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 22, 2026. You can respond using the RSVP tab on this website or by scanning the QR code on your invitation. If you prefer not to RSVP online, please feel free to call or text Kim or Nick directly. We’re happy to help! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Complimentary on-site parking is available in two designated lots: one behind Historic Columbus and another beside the JP Illges Woodruff House. Parking signs will be posted to help direct you upon arrival. Please allow a few extra minutes to park and make your way to the Conservatory before the ceremony begins at 5:30 PM.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive between 5:00 and 5:15 PM and be seated no later than 5:15 PM. This will allow everyone time to get settled before we say “I do!”

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you join us for an unplugged ceremony. Please silence and put away your phones and cameras so everyone can be fully present as we exchange our vows. Our wonderful photography team will capture all the special moments, and we promise to share them! Feel free to take as many photos as you’d like during the cocktail hour and reception!
