We’re Getting Married

Ever heard of a Crazy Love Story, if so I guarantee ours will top all of them lol. We met outside of a school that my children and niece attended. Upon walking out we had exchanged casual hellos and about the weather (it was getting ready to storm). He asked what was my job as I had on my scrubs from work and I responded back with what my job description was. From that point on we stayed outside of the school talking for 45 mins or as I would like to say until the rain came through. A few days later we exchanged telephone numbers and began to talk and get to know one another. We went on dates and learned a lot about each other. However, like all relationships things didn’t work out after a year. After two years of not speaking and moving forth with life, as I was dropping my niece off at school we saw each other. He immediately stopped what he was doing at the school and came over to me and asked me to give him a few minutes for a conversation. Hesitantly, I said okay and walked outside. Once he came outside a conversation of truths and accountability has happened and new numbers were exchanged. That night we went out to a restaurant and had a in depth conversation about our past, present and future. Fast forward to our one year anniversary he proposed to me on March 28, 2025! I happily said yes and from there we began to build a more stable foundation, family and take trips as a family. Either of us couldn’t be more happier than we are today, from taking trips, getting to relearn each other and getting the children back comfortable and acclimated to us being one.
