Matron of Honor
Kristie and I actually met while I was living in New Hampshire, she was my neighbor. As every good friendship starts we really didn’t like each other much. Our friendship grew when Kristie saw me gardening outside our apartment. Just like a flower our friendship bloomed and we have become sisters for over ten years. Kristie has always been there for me through thick and thin. I think our greatest memories are filled with dancing to our favorite songs, four wheeling in New Hampshire, and just having a great girls night watching movies. I’m lucky to have her as friend and by my side on my wedding day.

Sarah and I have met about six years ago and our friendship has grown ever since. I actually took part of Sarah’s wedding ceremony. I choose Sarah to be a part of my bridal party because she is always there for me when I need someone to talk to. She always has great advice and is not afraid to tell me what I need to hear. I always enjoy seeing her Fall (egg)quinox pictures online, which make me laugh. I also love seeing her son Brian grow and I enjoy being a part of his life. I’m so happy that Sarah has accepted the role of being a bridesmaid.

I met Kathleen about two years ago when Mike finally introduced me to his family. Kathleen is the sister in-law I have always wanted. I always knew that I would ask Kathleen to be a part of our wedding. I was so happy when she accepted the role of being a part of my bridal party. Kathleen loves traveling the world and I love to hear about her stories and see her pictures from different countries. I always know that if we are playing Trivia Pursuit I want her on my team! She ALWAYS wins! Kathleen always tells me the best Mike stories which always make me laugh. I feel really blessed to have her be my soon to be sister in-law.

I always knew I was going to ask my sister Nicole to be a part of my bridal party. We have so many memories together. I was the one that taught Nicole how to drive. I still remember that night like it just happened, and how I thought my poor car will never make it through her highway driving. I will never forget the night her water broke in my kitchen, after I gave her a foot massage because we googled how to make your water break. And yes, getting a foot massage was on the list, and boy oh boy did it work! Ha-ha. I was so excited for the birth of my niece. Even though we live three hours away from one another we both know we would drop anything to be there for each other. I can’t wait to have her by myside as I say I do to my future husband.

Their is one person who has always had my back since the day I was born and that is my cousin Jami. Over the years Jami has became a sister to me. Their are so many special memories I have of us growing up with each other. The many summer nights at our campground. The slumber parties at her house where I thought I was so cool to hang out with the older kids and play “light as feather stiff as a board”. We went from playing with Barbie dolls together to planning my dream wedding. Even though Jami lives in South Carolina I always know she is only a phone call away. I’m so honored that Jami has accepted the role of being a bridesmaid.

Sarah works in marketing full-time in the broadcast industry and uses her background in marketing and creative writing to personalize wedding ceremonies for her brides and grooms. "I have people come up to me all the time and tell me that they've never been to a wedding ceremony quite like mine. I really try to make each wedding special and personal to fit the couple. No love story is the same; neither should their weddings be the same. "Some wedding officiants have several scripts that they work from and the couple picks which one fits them best. I don't believe that a couple should fit the script but rather the script fit the couple." When Sarah isn't working or marrying people, Sarah loves to spend time with her family and cats. She also loves to run with her husband Dave.
