FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors in the forest, where February temperatures range from 35–45° F. Please dress semi-formal and warm. Choose from our color palette of burnt orange, dark green, or rich browns, think cozy elegance that complements the forest.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there’s plenty of parking on the property for all guests. A rental car will be needed as the venue is 2 hours from Seattle Airport.

Question

Are gifts welcome?

Answer

Your presence means everything to us. If you’d like to contribute, we kindly ask for monetary gifts to help us enjoy a small honeymoon adventure.

Question

Will the ceremony be outdoors the entire time?

Answer

Just the ceremony, after we say “I do,” we’ll head inside for dinner, games, and warmth.

Question

What’s included in the stay?

Answer

If you’re staying with us, your Airbnb room is covered from Feb 2–4, with breakfast, dinner, and evening drinks provided.

Question

Can I bring children or a plus one?

Answer

This will be an adults only celebration so everyone can relax and be fully present in the moment. There is limited space, so no plus ones.

Question

What’s the vibe of the weekend?

Answer

Intimate, relaxed, and heartfelt in a cozy space to celebrate love and peace in nature. We are so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family.

Question

Directions

Answer

If you're coming from Seattle, sometimes Google Maps will route you through a ferry. The ferries are fun and can be worth doing. But they're also a bit unreliable and often require long waits. We recommend driving up around Deception Pass, a 2 hour drive from Seattle and suburbs. It's also a beautiful drive once you get near the island, especially Deception Pass itself, which is worth stopping for.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Yes! We would love for everyone to take photos of our special day! We just ask that you please keep your cellphones silenced during the ceremony.
