Around April 2020, my (Kimberly) Aunt Joyce went into a local appliance store to purchase a light bulb for her microwave. She was helped by an employee who she thought was incredibly kind and helpful. Joyce called my mom to tell her that she wanted to set me up with this guy. She knew his family and was impressed by how he interacted with her. Two years later when the timing was right, Joyce went back into that store and asked to talk to Max. She told him she thought he should meet her niece and he agreed to contact me. A few weeks later on July 18, we had our first date at a local waffle shop. Neither of us knew what to expect, but after a couple dates, we were inseparable. We are incredibly grateful to Joyce for following her gut and connecting us. We have found in each other a best friend to spend the rest of our lives with. Thank you all for being a part of our individual stories.
