Ceremony Shuttle Details:

Our ceremony will be held near a mountain trail with limited parking, so guest shuttles will be available starting at 3:15p Shuttle Details: Mount Crested Butte Guests: Pickup at Elevations Hotel: -3:15pm (only this 1 pickup time). In town Guests: Pickups at the Visitor’s Center/Chamber of Commerce lot: - 3:15pm, 3:25pm, and 3:35pm. (Please don’t wait for the last 3:35pm shuttle as seats may be limited.) Ceremony begins at 4:00pm. Shuttles will take guests from the ceremony to the reception and later to your lodging in Mount Crested Butte or Crested Butte. A free town shuttle is also available at night.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Western formal—where classic meets cowboy! Ladies, rock a fun printed dress and top it off with a western belt, cowboy hat, or boots (or all 3 if you’re feeling bold). What Airport should I fly into?

Answer

1. Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC): The closest airport, located just 25 minutes from downtown Crested Butte. 2. Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ): Approximately 1.5 hour drive to Crested Butte. 3. Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT): Approximately 2.5 hour drive to Crested Butte.

How do I get from the airport to Downtown Crested Butte?

Answer

Ubers, Lyfts and taxis are not available in Crested Butte. The best transportation options are Alpine Express, rental cars, or the Mountain Express.

Can I Fly into Denver?

Answer

Yes, it's a beautiful and scenic 4-hour drive to Crested Butte, or you can connect to a United or American Airlines flight to fly directly into Gunnison (GUC).

What will the weather be like & will I see snow?

Answer

Sadly no snow in early September, but you can expect mild days and cooler nights. Average high temperatures are around 66°F, with lows near 30°F. Dressing in layers is ideal for this time of year!
