We're getting married!

We first met in junior high and were mutual friends throughout high school. During my junior year, he would walk me to my classes and buy me snacks. We would talk to each other day and night, until one sunny April morning, he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes! Now we're blessed with a beautiful baby girl.

We were out shopping when we came across a jewelry store. I teased him saying I was going to go look at rings and to my surprise, he smiled and said okay :) Soon after, we were browsing through the rings when a consultant began asking questions... things got serious VERY fast. I thought he was figuring out the finances and seeing what I liked. I found the one I loved and before I knew it, he was purchasing it! I was soooo cheesy that entire time. I figured he was going to propose a certain way, but I wasn't sure because we just bought the ring, so of course blonde Kim opens her mouth and asks, "So are we automatically engaged?" He was completely thrown off and didn't know what to say. He started laughing and told me I needed to be patient. 10 minutes passed and I was already digging in the jewelry bag to admire my soon-to-be engagement ring. He smiled while looking at me and asked "Will you marry me?" I'm a big cry baby so of course I said YES and bawled my eyes out (even though we had literally just bought the ring). It was perfect.
