Kimberly & Kevin’s Love Story

When you think of a couple that consists of a New York girly girl (really Long Island girl- but close enough) and a Tattoo loving small town Bama Boy, you would never think they would be a match. But, it turns out, God has a way of matching some of the most unlikely pairs together to make something beautiful. And that’s what happened with these two. Their story started in September 2016 on a dating site called Eharmony where they first connected. Their first date was a picnic in the park at Piedmont Park in Atlanta in November 2016. It was at that point where they both realized there was something special between them and was excited to explore the relationship. She taught him how to open up and share more about himself, as he taught her how to enjoy life at a (much) slower pace. They bonded on their mutal faith, their belief in intergrity and respect as well as their feelings for each other. A little after a year of dating in December of 2017, Kevin decided to pop the question to Kimberly on his first trip to New York. He had planned to propose to her on their day trip to NYC by the beautiful lights of the Rockafeller Christmas tree, but quickly realized the day of how crowded and uncomfotable it was. He finally decided to pop the question in the driveway of her childhood home (in 5 degree weather.) She was so shocked she immediately said yes and burst into happy tears because she wasn’t expecting it. Then she begged to move the celebration into the house where it was nice warm and toasty! Even though they went through seasons of ups and downs in their relationship, they knew for sure they didn’t want to live their lives without one another. They moved forward and had a small intimate wedding in Montgomery, Alabama on October 5th 2019 and will have another bigger celebration the next year. With all of you! They now live today in their newly bought starter house in Fayetteville, GA where they havr started their married life together with much happiness.
