When Kerrick and Kim met at Gonzaga University at a Beer Olympics party junior year, neither one of them realized they'd just met their soulmate. While they'd both told a mutual friend they thought each other were cute, it would take a long time for them both to realize this. The next year proved to be eventful for Kim and Kerrick. Both celebrated their 21st birthdays, and Kim returned home to her family to battle an illness. Kerrick wrote a letter to express to Kim how much he'd been thinking about her. That summer, they both thought about each other, and when Kim returned to school senior year, she had a pretty big crush on him. On Halloween of senior year (with Kerrick in his Goose from Top Gun costume, and Kim dressed as a cop), Kerrick and Kim finally realized how much they liked each other. From that day forward, they've been pretty much inseparable. Kerrick planned a romantic first date in Spokane, taking Kim out for tacos at El Que and ice skating in River Park Square. Senior year was full of love and laughter and growing in their new relationship. They graduated not knowing if they'd even get jobs in same place, but, with some help from fate, they both landed jobs in Seattle, where they were able to fall more in love. On May 30th, 2019, Kerrick proposed to Kim in Tokyo, Japan. The love they share for each other is unmatched and they can't wait to share this with all of their family and friends.
