What is the time zone difference?

Answer

Hawaii (HST) is 6 hours ahead of eastern standard time. For example, 12:30 am EST is 6:30 am HST.

Which airport is near Kihei?

Answer

The nearest major airport is Kahului Airport. (Airport Code : OGG) This airport has international and domestic flights and is roughly 10 miles from the center of Kihei, HI.

Are there any travel recommendations ?

Answer

Nirvana Travel Co. has quoted travel packages based upon rates in Maui for the wedding weekend. You may book through travel advisor, Jasmine Brooks. Any special requests or arrangements you may contact the agency. These travel recommendations are optional.

We will maintain an intimate ceremony to ensure the safety of all guests. Vaccinations are recommended.

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The wedding will start promptly at 4:30 pm HST Guest may arrive beginning at 4:00 pm.

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outside. The reception to follow will be inside at the same location. Please refrain from wearing white as the dress code is beach formal.

Arrival to Wedding?

Answer

Shuttles will be available from the host hotel to transport guest to the wedding venue. The host hotel is AC Hotel by Marriott.

Departure from Reception?

Answer

Guest will be able to travel back to the host hotel by shuttle from Sugar Beach Events.

Can I make installments towards my trip?

Answer

Yes, travel installments are available through the travel advisor.

Will I be able to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking all guest to respect our wishes to have an Unplugged Ceremony. We will have professional photographers that will capture the moment. We will share ceremony photos with everyone at a later date. You may take pictures during the reception.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, food and drinks will be served. However, the venue is requesting NO outside food or beverages of any kind.

Please let us know your plans to celebrate with us by April 15, 2023.

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, so you can celebrate with us.

Answer

Free parking is available. Please make sure your vehicles are moved by the end of the reception.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.

Tropical Chic! Come dressed in your beach formal.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guest can head straight to the reception hall.

Will I need my passport to travel ?

Answer

Since Hawaii is one of the 50 states within the United States, passports are not required for citizens to travel.

What if I can not make the wedding but still want to be apart of the big day?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be live streamed for family and friends to view. Stay tuned!

What time is wedding rehearsal?

Answer

Due to the venue having weddings daily and to give the proper respect for their day, the wedding rehearsal is Friday June 9, 2023 from 9:00am -10:00 am.

I’m planning to attend virtually, how will I access the link?

Answer

Please visit the website under the schedule tab on Saturday, June 10, there will be a zoom link that will begin promptly at 4:30 pm HST. To be admitted please enter your first and last name by 10:00pm EST. Please be mindful of the time zone, this will begin promptly at 10:30pm EST.

What if I RSVP and plans changed where I can’t attend, what should I do?

Answer

Please notify the bride and groom prior to April 15, 2023 so that vendors can be contacted and guest count can be adjusted.

What if I received a save the date but do not plan to come to the actual ceremony?

Answer

Out of respect for vendors and the bride and groom please still RSVP that you will not attend.
