FAQs

If you have any additional questions other than what we listed here, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please respond on or before May 20, 2021 by clicking on the RSVP section.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If time allows, please arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to ceremony start time. Please note that the ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM (EST). Toccoa Falls is located about an hour and a half north of Atlanta, Georgia. Please plan on leaving your home early to avoid driving through Atlanta's rush hour traffic, which typically occurs around 3:30 PM and lasts until 7:30 PM. In most cases, hotels will allow you to check in early; however, please call ahead to confirm availability.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Casual Attire: (e.g., sundresses, dressy jumpsuits, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, linen pants, blazers, short-sleeved button downs, fun hats and fascinators are welcome, but not required).

Question

Where can I park for the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Park in the lot located in front of Gate Cottage and Toccoa Falls Books and Gifts Shop. From the parking lot, it is an easily accessible pathway along the stream to the base of the falls. Please wear comfortable shoes. Golf cart will be provided for disabled guests.

Question

How can I request golf cart access?

Answer

The golf cart will be available for those who cannot physically walk the path, but a list must be provided at least one week before the wedding. Please notify the bride or groom of your request to be added to the list.

Question

Can I bring a friend or date?

Answer

Due to the COVID-19 guidelines set in place by the state's current executive order, at this time the total guest count cannot exceed 50 people. Although we would love to celebrate with more of our friends and family and their guests, we are limiting attendance to the invitee plus one (1) additional guest (or your family).

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at Hampton Inn & Suites Lavonia, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lavonia, and Country Hearth Inn & Suites Toccoa. Click on the "view" button in the accommodations section to visit each hotel website for more information and take a peek at their hotel rooms. Please do not book any reservations through the hotel website, contact the hotel of your choice directly by phone. When calling to make your reservation, please mention the Bellamy/Thornton wedding in order to secure the discounted rate.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. You can enter dietary restrictions when you RSVP online.

Question

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

It is required for guests to wear masks when riding in the golf cart and entering the Toccoa Falls Welcome Center. Masks are not required for the ceremony and reception. Families will be seated together, and tables will be six feet apart. Hand sanitizer will be available in numerous convenient locations on the grounds.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, Zola and Amazon. Please click on the registry section for more details.

Question

Is there anything else I need to know?

Answer

Yes. Toccoa Falls is a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus. No alcohol or smoking is allowed on the premises.
