How we met

Bride’s POV

When Jaylen and I first met I ran away from him, but let me explain. It was fall of 2020, so he was wearing a mask and I was expecting to meet a group of people for a game night but I was just early. Once the games began we clicked instantly. He was fun and easy to get along with and we even had some back and forth banter. He was so easy to talk to and fun to hang out with. We started hanging out with a friend group for the rest of the semester. By October we told each other that we liked one another and started to hang out more. By January of 2021 we began to date. Although we were in a pandemic we found creative ways to stay safe, but still have fun dates. We survived the pandemic and were even able to walk across the stage together. It was such a fun experience that I would not change for the world. June of 2024, Jaylen and our families went on a graduation cruise to the Bahamas. On the second night after dinner Jaylen organized for our families to set up this beautiful rose trailed arrangement and asked me to marry him. I am so blessed and thank God for friends and families that prayed for us and helped us get to this point!

How we met

Groom’s POV

The night was young, and I heard the pitter patter of feet coming towards me. As I sat in the lounging area of our college dorm, I turned to see what the sound was and I locked eyes with a beautiful woman. Then she turned and darted in the other direction just as quickly as she came. Luckily for me she came back, and we hit it off. In September, I let her know that I liked her and that I had real feelings for her. By January, I asked her to be my girlfriend, and 4 years later in June 2024 after completing college together I asked her to be my wife, and she said yes.
