You can buy tickets online through international airlines such as Japan Air and Korean Airlines. You may find it is cheaper to go to a travel agency especially if you plan to travel to other asian countries. You can also use the “hopper” app to find flights. Please take into consideration that there are very few direct overseas flight to Saigon, Vietnam and you will likely be connected via Narita, Japan or Seoul, Korea. You will need a valid Passport that is not within 6 months of expiration. It take 4-6 weeks to renew passports. You will also need a visa to enter Vietnam.

YES! Traditional attire is appreciated but not mandatory! Just be sure to avoid white or black Ao Dais. This is a fun and exciting event so think colorful!
There are plenty of seller of Ao Dai in the US. There are some linked below. Etsy has some really great options as well, just be sure to read the reviews first. Please make sure you are looking at the measurements as Vietnam sizes are significantly smaller than US sizes. We do have the option of fabricating custom Ao Dai's fitted to you. There is a separate RSVP for that, however, you should consider allowing 2-3 days for fittings and adjustments. If you do not allot enough time for fabrication you may be able to buy off the rack if you fit Viet sizes but adjustments may be limited. https://aodaibycutesass.com/ https://www.etsy.com/listing/1859636673/traditional-vietnamese-ao-dai-for-men?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=men%26%2339%3Bs+ao+dai+green&ref=sr_gallery-1-3&frs=1&cns=1&content_source=e2453d3a7577f3d1f0519b59f8042b9a9b9f7774%253A1859636673&search_preloaded_img=1&organic_search_click=1&logging_key=e2453d3a7577f3d1f0519b59f8042b9a9b9f7774%3A1859636673
Vietnam is 12 hours ahead of EST. Please allow yourself time to acclimate to the time change and weather change. We recommend arriving 2-3 days before the wedding to get situated. Vietnam is a beautiful city and filled with delicious food and rich culture. Please consider staying for at least a week before the wedding as we will be hosting tours and family gatherings to enjoy the days leading up to the wedding.
The city of Bien Hoa and Saigon are very touristy and are filled with shops and pharmacies and department stores. Should you forget anything it will be easy to find/access. We do recommend bringing the basics: - Medications (US Medications are better than the ones in Vietnam) (full list on a different FAQ) - Sunscreen (SPF 50 or over) - UV index in Vietnam is average 12 - Sunglasses - Comfortable sneakers - Indoor sandals/slippers - Light shirts/Shorts/dresses - Fanny Pack/Purse that is secure/pockets that zip shut (pickpocketing is very common among tourists) - Cash in VND (avoid using digital transactions in Vietnam as it is easy to steal your informations) IF you bring $5000 USD or more, you must declare at border- we recommend bring $4999 or less. (EST Max $3000 is all you really need to live like a king) - Travel adapter (the plug may seem the same but the voltage is different and it can fry your chargers)
- When eating street foods, avoid ice and only drink bottled water. (in the nicer restaurants you don't need to be concerned)
Yes, E-Sims are available for purchase in Vietnam (DO NOT BUY AT AIRPORT) and you can add it to your current phone. Just ensure your phone is unlocked (Meaning it is fully paid off and is capable of switching carriers). We recommend to buy E Sim before you fly to Vietnam.
- You will have to go through the immigration line and be processed once oyu land. TO accelerate this process, please visit this website and apply for a fast track service. It will cost you about $30 but if you choose not to apply for fast track be aware that you may be in the immigration lien for up to 3 hours. -When you book your ticket, please send me the time and day that you will be landing in Vietnam. We can have a taxi sent to the airport to pick you up and bring you to the hotel. In the case of delay, the taxi will wait for 2-3 hours after your expected time. If you miss your flight completely, there is an information counter in the airport that you can ask for a taxi and tell them you will be going to the province of Bien Hoa. They will help you as it will be hard to rebook a taxi last minute.
