It all began at a Zach Bryan concert in Forest Hills, Queens—one of those perfect New York nights when the music fills the air and fate feels a little closer than usual. In the middle of the crowd, surrounded by songs we both loved, our paths crossed… and everything quietly shifted. From our very first date, we felt something undeniably special. We said goodnight, walked away, and immediately started planning when we could see each other again—which, of course, ended up being the very next day. And truly, we’ve been choosing each other just as effortlessly ever since. One of our earliest milestones came quickly. Kim was in the thick of studying for her NCLEX when John walked into her life—bringing calm, encouragement, and unwavering support during a time filled with stress and late-night studying. Within that first month of dating, she passed. It felt symbolic: even from the beginning, we were already becoming a team. Fast forward to July 31st, 2024—our most unforgettable moment yet. On our first trip abroad together, in the beautiful seaside town of Nafpaktos, Greece, John had planned a surprise Kim never saw coming. He asked her parents for their blessing, and they traveled all the way to Greece to be there for the proposal. With the sun setting over the water and the people they love most nearby, John got down on one knee—and Kim said yes to forever. What makes our relationship truly special is the way we understand and care for each other. We always manage to make each other laugh, even on the toughest days. We can sense when the other is hurting—when one of us needs a hug, a quiet moment, a shoulder to cry on, or simply someone to sit beside. We are each other’s best friend, biggest supporter, and safe place. Living life together has already been an adventure, and we know the journey ahead will be nothing short of extraordinary. What began with a chance meeting and a shared love of good music has grown into a love that is steady, joyful, and deeply meant to be. Now we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with the people who mean the most to us.
