Ely & Kim are getting hitched! Welcome to our wedding website, we can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you. When I woke up that Friday morning I had no idea I was going to meet the best thing that ever happened to me. Kim & I went through quite a series of events that day. Neither of us were supposed to be at that Blackalicious show (a bay area hip-hop group), but somehow we both ended up there. I was supposed to work, but got free tickets last minute, so I scrambled to make the show, and Evan (my best man) was able to come with me. Kim was invited because a friend of hers had an extra ticket, and was planning to meet another person there, but plans changed. She saw me when I walked in, and decided to come over and talk to me right before Blackalicious came on. . She came over and said hello, our eyes met and I saw that lovely smile I fell in love with. If you know Kim, you already know what a magnetic personality she has. It drew me right in. I was hooked. We laughed, and danced through the whole show, exchanging numbers at the end as we went our seperate ways. She lived in San Jose, I lived in Santa Cruz, but the distance wasn't a problem. We were always talking or texting, scheduling times to meet on the weekends to play pool, sing Karaoke, or get lost in the music. Since then, we've danced the night away countless times, to a variety of music, in a variety of cities and venues. I can't imagine not having her by my side. We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces on June 15th, and I hope you'll join us on the dance floor.
