We met in high school, we were both in the same physics class, but Kimberly first noticed Devin at one of his soccer games, she then decided to become an avid soccer fan. Kimberly always took a chance to ask Devin for help in class as she was not good at physics and so she had an excuse to talk to him. We quickly grew close, and Devin asked Kimberly to be his girlfriend at their first school dance, Devin knew he had something special and asked her during their first dance to make it official. It is truly amazing to be able to fall in love with a person and also grow with them. We have stepped hand in hand through so many stages of life from high school, college and now entering our new careers and grad school. That love has only grown more and more throughout the years.

Devin popped the question while him and Kimberly were on vacation in Hilton Head Island South Carolina in December 2025. Kimberly had just graduated nursing school, and her family had kindly gifted them a week at their vacation house down there. On December 30th Devin and Kimberly were walking along a beach and taking in the beautiful views. Devin began saying some very sweet things and then dropped on one knee and asked Kimberly "will you marry me"? Kimberly was ecstatic! Devin also proposed with Kimberly's mother's original engagement ring; he added blue sapphires to the sides to symbolize one of Kim's favorite colors and their love for the water.

Devin and Kimberly plan on developing a firm foundation in their marriage through the grace and love of Christ. We are planning on staying in Southwest Michigan and starting a family in the future. We are looking forward to all joys of marriage, traveling and blessings to come:)
